Raw St. Lucian Sea Moss
Our beautiful wild crafted gold Sea moss comes from the pristine Atlantic and Caribbean seas off of the coast of St. Lucia, know as the “Helen of the West”. St. Lucia is built on an active volcano, therefore it directly benefits from the mineral rich waters that surround the Island! Our Sea moss which is scientifically named Genus Gracilaria, has been used for many centuries throughout the Caribbean for its healing properties. HOW TO PREPARE RAW SEAMOSS
- Place 1 oz. of raw sea moss or (desired amount) in a bowl with natural spring water and key limes and thoroughly clean and remove all sea sedimentation from sea moss
- Rinse sea moss with spring water three times to remove any excess sand, salt, etc.
- Place Sea moss in a bowl and cover with natural spring water and key limes and let it soak for 24-48 hours
- Drain Sea moss, and rinse with spring water again
- Add sea moss and natural spring water to blender, add enough water to almost cover the sea moss but not all the way
- Add more water for desired texture
- Blend for a minimum of two minutes to create a smooth consistency
- Pour Sea moss in to glass jar, and let stand for 30 minutes in jar before placing it in the refrigerator
- Refrigerate sea moss for a minimum of three hours to form gel
- Take raw or add 2-4 tablespoons to smoothies, teas, soups, or your favorite meals
